Where do I start?..............Moved to a small town in 2015, after losing our home in the Canterbury earthquakes, after purchasing a 100 year old Hotel. This was my dream! November 2016 the Kaikoura quake hit, and my dream died. The building was red stickered, and then a S124 Notice issued. Since then I have lived in a small mobile motorhome, then a poartacom and now in a small constructerd room inside an old shed onsite, right beside our beautiful old building. Six months after the quake we managed to get a small business built on the same site, which has its challenges daily, being a small building and trying to provide at least half of the servies we used to provide to customers. Winter comes around, and the struggle is triple time to keep us above water. Now we have just been issued a Final S124 Notice from the Council.
